Multi-agent system

Several specialized AI agents that divide a task between them, such as one extracting data, one summarizing and one structuring the output.

Instead of one agent doing everything, a multi-agent system assigns roles. Each agent gets a narrower job, a focused prompt and only the tools it needs, which can improve reliability on long or complex tasks.

Frameworks such as CrewAI organize agents as a crew with roles, while LangGraph models the collaboration as an explicit graph with shared state. Coordination adds overhead, so more agents is not automatically better.
