LangGraph

A framework for building stateful AI agents as graphs of steps, with checkpointed state and support for pausing for human input.

LangGraph, from the LangChain team, models an agent as a graph: nodes are steps (call the model, run a tool, check a condition) and edges decide what happens next. The agent's state is explicit and can be checkpointed to a database.

Checkpointing means a conversation can survive restarts and resume exactly where it stopped, and interrupts let the graph pause before a sensitive step until a human approves. Those two properties make LangGraph a strong fit for production agents.
